I have to say that I flipped through your classes, and thank you for designing practical armour/clothing for the females!  It's a pet peeve of mine when I see armour that leaves all vital areas exposed.

Even beyond that, though, these are very well thought-out and executed concepts.  Well done!

Amazing work Forrest, I'm actually using this as ref for a current concept I'm doing. The values and material renders are spot on! Keep inspiring us bro!

This is coming from someone who doesn't post their own work on DA and just "critiques" others. Good job.

so only people that have experience in something should be allowed to voice criticism?

ok I will remind you of that the next time you voice your opinion on ANYTHING except art =P (Razz)

Except your "criticism" isn't criticism at all. It's you voicing your disgusting sexist opinions.

either that or look at some traditional european female clothes around and try to implant things you like into it. having armor that will still being functional looks like a dress from certain angles could help distinguish her more

or be a bitch and cry about any form of criticism Wink/Razz

maybe you should clarify on your profile that devianart is a "safe space" for you

"LUZL BIGGER BOOBZ" =/= criticism.

It's a personal preference, and nobody gives a shit what you want to drop your shorts to.

hehe

I didn´t say too give him bigger boobs that was his own"ironic" replay.

but OK. Like I said he really should have just put in the description or on his profile that he doesn´t like criticism and only wants praises.
people nowadays are really thin skinned

If he didn't like constructive criticism, he wouldn't be this good of an artist. You don't get to this level without listening to useful feedback. Emphasis on useful.

But since you're so pro-
criticism, here's some to improve your personality; not all art is made for YOU to enjoy, stop trying to impose your arbitrary standards on work that is not made for you.
And stop telling cosplayers to wear skimpier outfits, you fucking creeper; yeah I saw your comment history, and you make yourself look like a pathetic virgin using DA as their primary source for wank material.
No-one believes your comment comes from a sincere place of selfless intentions, so you can stop pretending.

What is the line between criticism (where technique should be improved) and personal taste (I want her more feminine because that is how like designs!)?

Wow - I'm glad I started my day on Deviant Art.  I love a good dose of irony in the morning.  It really is true that those that don't create critique.  Just wish you were able to do it better.  Ah well, good luck with your skill set.  <3

Well payed is definitly not a thought that crossed my mind when hearing maths...ever thought about a engineering profession, like electrical or process engineering? So you don't end up as bottomfeeder

Then why don't you go do some math instead of pretending you know the first thing about art? Bitch.
